What is The Main Street Stage?
The Main Street Stage is a free family-friendly variety entertainment event that takes place every second Saturday night of the month from 6:00pm-8:00pm, January through November (no show in December due to the Christmas holiday) at 200 South Main Street, Gainesboro, TN 38562 (Timeless Events).
What is The Main Street Stage, legally?
The Main Street Stage is a non-profit charitable organization (501(c)3) headquartered in Gainesboro, TN. All excess proceeds, assuming any, are donated to local causes and benefits (see sponsorship section below for more on this). All donations are tax deductible.
Lucas Brown is the President of the 501(c)3 organization. Ethan Reynolds is the Vice President.
What is the mission of the Main Street Stage?
The Main Street Stage exists to give local artists of all varieties, genres, and skill levels a platform to perform and share their talents with the community.
We believe that live, in-person entertainment has the power, and creates the opportunities, to bring people together in a unique form of fellowship that bypasses barriers and builds relationships on common ground.
What are sponsor and contribution dollars spent on?
Sponsor and contribution dollars are used to pay the featured artist(s), rent sound system equipment, rent the stage platforms, and pay the venue rental fee each month. All excess sponsor dollars and contributions are donated to local causes and benefits. The Main Street Stage does not have employees, and all board members and officers are volunteers.
